B7-C COMPACT FAST-NEUTRON DIAMOND DETECTOR
Fast-Neutron Probe
The B7-C Compact Fast-Neutron Diamond Detector has been developed for the measurement of fast neutrons in confined spaces. The detector is designed to fit into rods of 1/2 inch inner diameter. For the calibration of the detector with alpha particles, an aperture is foreseen on the rear side of the detector.
The B7-C Compact Fast-Neutron Diamond Detector is used at fusion reactors for fast-neutron flux monitoring. Due to the compact design it can be installed in confined spaces close to the core.
