B14 DIAMOND TELESCOPE DETECTOR
Fast-Neutron Beam Monitoring
The B14 Diamond Telescope Detector was developed for proton-recoil measurements in fast-neutron beams for neutron flux monitoring. The detector consists of four diamond sensors, which are mounted directly behind each other as telescope. The B14 Diamond Telescope Detector is specialized for ΔE/E measurements, where the absence of material between sensors is of highest importance.

The thickness as well as the number of the diamond sensors in the B14 Diamond Telescope Detector can be adapted to specific applications.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
In combination with the Cx-L Spectroscopic Amplifiers and the dedicated ROSY® Telescope Application, the B14 Diamond Telescope Detector is used as real-time neutron flux monitor in mono-energetic neutron beams.

The Figure shows the experimental setup at the Frascati Neutron Generator FNG, Frascati/Italy, where the neutron flux of the 14 MeV neutron beam was measured.
